    Could someone kindly post what scholars from the madaahib have stated regarding asking help from the awliya. I recently encountered a tablighi who insists there is no proof in any of the major books of fiqh in support of asking help from inmates in grave. He was also clear in declaring this as outright shirk.

    Can somebody please help.
