If time permits, I will insha Allah upload the scan of "Subh o Shafaq ki Tahqeeq" (Kashf al-Ghita'i a'n is-Subh wa I'sha) authored by Mawlana Shaheed Alam Ridwi (with appendix by Mawlana Nizamuddin Misbahi of UK).

Only yesterday, I was perchance watching a fiqh Q&A session by Khurshid Sabri. I missed the actual question posed by the caller, but Khurshid Sabri categorically said that using an alcohol based perfume is permissible! He reasoned that the composition of alcohol in such perfume is low and is likely to evaporate, hence there is no prohibition in using such a perfume. What a colossal ignorance!

    here:

Astronomical dawn is the time at which the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon in the morning. Astronomical dawn is that point in time at which the sun starts lightening the sky. Prior to this time, the sky is completely dark.

astronomical dawn is when the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon, and is widely accepted.

    ---
    here it says:
Astronomical twilight begins at sunset (ends at sunrise) and ends (begins) when the Sun's center is 18 degrees below the horizon.

    ---
    here:
    astronomical dawn
This is the time at which the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon in the morning. Astronomical dawn is that point in time at which the sun starts lightening the sky. Prior to this time, the sky is completely dark

    ----
    here:
It starts at astronomical dawn, early in the morning when the Sun is higher than 18 degrees below the horizon. From this point, it will be difficult to observe certain faint stars, galaxies, and other objects because the Sun starts to illuminate the sky.

  6. Absolutely disgusting behaviour of khurshid alam sabri he should fear Allah Tabaarak wa Ta’ala. I received many phone calls and texts where people were saying that on ummah channel they are saying that Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan ‘alaihi rahmah supported 15 degrees for the commencement of sehri subh saadiq (the true dawn).

This is a complete blatant lie; khurshid alam sabri is a liar and a fraudster. He was misquoting Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan ‘alaihi rahmah and was not reading the full passages from al Fataawa al Rizawia.

He also completely misquoted the Imam by leaving out his conclusion and summary that the Imam wrote at the end. Allamah Mufti Ayub Ashrafi sahib expressed his displeasure in a very respectable and honourable way; but he was also abused, insulted, disrespected and called molvi Ayub throughout the programme by khurshid saying that he doesn’t understand this and that.

I cannot believe the deception that was displayed by this individual. How is he going to answer Allah Tabaarak wa Ta’ala on the the Day of Judgment.

This is a real fitnah of our times and like the hadith says that people will believe a liar and will not believe those that speak the truth. This was on full show on ummah channel.

Al Iyaadhu billah Tabaarak wa Ta’ala

Naudhu billah Tabaarak wa Ta’ala min dhalik

The position of Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan ‘alaihi rahmah is clear he refutes the 15 degree position and say that thousands of observations are witness that the subh saadiq true dawn begins when the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon.

Al Fataawa al Rizawia Volume 10 page 570.

Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan ‘alaihi rahmah observed the sun him self on numerous occasions as he mentions in his Fataawa.

The reason why Allamah Mufti Shams ul Hudaa Misbahi Rizwi sahib didn’t speak was due to an agreement between the ‘ulamaa that no one can speak, meet or lecture about this issue in public before it is resolved and united upon by the senior Ulamaa in the UK.

May Allah Tabaarak wa Ta’ala protect us from these fitan and may Allah grant us the tawfeeq to keep our fasts in Ramadan at the correct time. I recommend brothers to follow the IslamicAcademy.net which has been made by Mufti Ahmad ul Qadri the student of al Muhaddith al Kabeer Allamah Zia ul Mustafa al Qadri (may Allah protect him) for your respective cities.

    Allahu Haadi
