Salaam Assalamu Alaikum, I have listened to Mufti Muneeb saibs speech, he mentioned something about Indian army in hist speech. He said Indian Army cam to pakistani border for 6months and the voice broke after that. Does anyone know what he said about the indian army being on Pakistani border for 6months? Jazak ALLAH.
I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments Faqir. Unfortunately this all to common in our community where individuals who literally have blood of our brothers and sisters on their hands are given platforms to drum up support. The 'ulama must know the baggage certain characters and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the mimbar. Then we ask why people have a negative image of ahl as-Sunnah. Wasalaam
I agree with you Totally, Shaykh Yaqoobi was given less time, rather all the speakers were given less time, they wasted to much time on MP'S. But what can we do, Anyway Jazak Allah
I only downloaded one talk and listened to the speech of Sh. Muhammad al-Ya'qoubi may Allah preserve him. He is one scholar who never sells his deen and always speaks the truth even if it does not please every one. what I found amusing was that his speech seemed to be followed by the sell-out MP Khalid Mahmood of B'ham - pro Iraq war Blair poodle - may Allah guide him. Where is the honor in introducing this man that the presenter referred to?! Someone should have told Sh. Muhammad about this chap and then we could have seen how he would have introduced him. This shameless 'muslim' MP did not vote against the very Iraq War that sh. muhammad talked about. He voted for the terrorism bill. He supported the invasion of Afghanistan. Its a shame he was given honour and the platform to talk and preach to us and no one exposed his shameless policies at the conference.
