His teachers are mainly Arabs. Don't think he has Deobandi teachers or even went to any Deobandi dar ul uloom
So would it be OK to attend his intensive this July 2024, they will cover Course Texts 1. The Merit of Learning from Bustan al-‘Arifin [1] 2. al-Taghridat al-Hisan [2] 3. Nur al-Sham‘a fi Bayan Zuhr al-Jumu‘a [3] 4. al-Mu‘tamad min al-Mu‘taqad [3] 5. Tuhfat al-Muluk (The Lawful & the Unlawful) [6] 6. Wasiyya ila Abu Yus uf [2] I don't wanna study with a deobandi as I've noticed even in fiqh their usool is based on the warped salafi understanding of maqasid al shareeah
Deobandi but I've never seen him get involved in polemics. He just teaches Fiqh at a high level. Seems like he's got a very good understanding too. Never seen him talk about the Sunni/Deobandi conflict
What's the general opinion of Tabraze Azam, he runs Irshad institute. He's always teaching adhoc works of the Hanafi Madhabs like risalas and rare works. Seems to be well rooted in usool. I don't believe he has a deobandi background.
