indeed it is impermissible for a Muslim to spit onto najasat e galeezah (utter filth). a Muslim's saliva is sacred and a source of Shifa. Narrated Syedah Aa'isha: The Prophet used to say to the patient, "In the Name of Allah The earth of our land and the saliva of some of us cure our patients." (Bukhari) he needs to do public tawbah and do tadjeed e emaan. he will still not qualify to be called a mujaddid ("renewer" of his own faith). alas, liars and those who have insulted the Prophets & Sahabah (he has done both) - do not have the good fortune of being granted guidance to repent.
