Some Information on Shah A'bdul A'līm al Siddiqui, Sayyid Abdullah shah Al afghāni (not to be confused with Abdullah shah Naqshbandi Muhaddith E Daccan) & Habeeb Ahmad Mashūr Al Ḥaddād, A close freind of Shah A'bdul A'līm and Shah Noorani Siddiqui How the Roving Ambassador from the Subcontinent, Shāh 'Abdul 'Alīm al Siddīqui, & The Towering Preacher from Yemen, Habīb Ahmad Mashūr Al Ḥaddād first met; Habib narrates that he was once among the audience in a great gathering in Mombasa presided over by Shaykh 'Abd al-'Alīm Siddiqi. Before the ceremony started, Shaykh 'Abd al-'Alīm made an announcement: 'Is there anyone here by the name of al-Haddad?' Habib, an unknown young man at the time, thought it could not possibly be him and kept quiet. Another announcement was made, 'If there is anyone by the name of al-Haddad, let him come forward please!' Again Habib said nothing, expecting someone else to step forward. The third time the Shaykh pointed straight at him, repeating, 'If there is anyone by the name of al-Haddad, let him come forward please!' Realising that he had been meant all along and that somehow the Shaykh had been aware of his presence, Habib finally got up and walked up to the podium, where Shaykh 'Abd al-'Alīm asked him to sit next to him and open the ceremony with a recitation of the Qur'an. He chose to recite, اِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِیْنًا " We have indeed granted a clear victory for you (O Beloved)...... So that Allah may, for your sake, forgive the sins of your former ones and of your latter ones, and complete His favours upon you, and show you the Straight Path (of fulfilling the responsibilities with regards to Prophethood. And Allah may provide you enormous help It is He Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers, so that they may increase (i.e. strengthen) in faith, along with their (existing) faith. And only to Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is All-Knowing, Ever Wise. And only to Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is All-Knowing, Ever Wise. After having told this story, Habib laughed softly and added that after this episode spiritual openings did come in quick succession. This was narrated by Shaykh Abd al-'Alīm's second son, Hamid Rabbānī Şiddīqi, known to his friends as Rabbānī who lived and worked in Jeddah for many years before settling in Madina ~ Based on the book, A man of many splendors; Habīb Aḥmad Mashūr Al Ḥaddād by Dr Mustafa Badawi The PDF below has more information on the connections between Habeeb Ahmad Mashūr Al Ḥaddād & the Barelwi Muballigheen https://t.me/ridawibooks/260
