Yes - and learning how to live, in strict concordance with the reality of this temporal world, is part of that 'ilm nafi'.
These qasaid are introductions to or summaries of those rules for a well-lived life.

As-Salāmu Alaykum. I think that it is important to learn that which would be useful to one's life and hereafter. E.g: fiqh and aqīda. And to avoid that which is useless insofar as life and the hereafter are concerned. E.g: irrelevant, complex theological issues

Living is a science, an art and a game.

Considering that all we've got is an extremely brief interim, in which we've to not just learn how to live, but in-fact live what we've learned, we should hasten to get adept at living, as early on as possible, preferably well before the teenage period ends.

Like a star-bedecked night sky or a jewel strewn trousseau, the Islamic scholarly heritage is decorated with great hukama who were prodigies at living - and they have left a wealth of instruction on "cracking the code of life".

And the end-goal of it all, is to live a life worth dying for.
