  2. You're right there. I wouldn't put it past them to have any anti-US Saudi prince assassinated...

May Allah and His Habib صلى الله عليه وسلم protect that blessed land of Arabia from all enemies and jealous eyes for ever! Despite our differences of opinion with the House of Saud the truth is that in every Muslim heart there is love burning for that blessed holy land.
Correction: for US politicians Israel is even more important than the US!
That's why no mainstream politician can afford to criticise Israel even the tiniest bit. Only mavericks like Ron Paul but he will never be allowed to win!

Prince Turki is known for his support for Palestine. Let's hope US will not weaken him. In Saudi Arabia the line of successors is clearly known and am sure USA tries to influence the thoughts of all of these successors so that who ever becomes the next king, remains friendly with US policies.

For US, Israel and Jews are more important that any or all Muslim countries.

    Very interesting article in counterpunch:

Of course the USA under Obama (what a hypocrite he has turned out to be!)
has already threatened to use its veto quicker than you can say, "AIPAC!" and his speech at the UN was nauseatingly one-sided.

It will be interesting to see if Abbas still has the guts to take the issue of palestinian statehood to the UN SC for a vote inspite of Obama's speech and US threats. If he does, and the US vetoes (they will) I wonder if Saudi will carry out their threats....?

Despite my dislike of Wahabis, I do admit a love for Arabia even if it is "Saudi" and I'd love to see a fully independent, rich and powerful, nuclear armed Saudi Arabia....because they'll be better for Muslims despite being Wahabis than the US has ever been. A Turkey-Saudi-Pakistan axis would be beautiful. (Pakistan has apparently already offered Saudi nukes if ever required).
