carrying on, 'allama kazmi raHimahullah writes that there is no place better than the body of rasulAllah sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam and Allah says in the Qur'an, wa lal aakhiratu khayrul laka minal oulaa [93:4]. so, when the soul of our master sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam was taken to fulfil the divine command of kullu nafsin dhaiqatul mawt, it was put back into the body thereafter. http://www.kazmis.com/khutbat2-69.html alaHazrat says: anbiya ko bhi ajal aani hai magar itni ki faqat aani hai phir us ik aan ke ba'ad unki hayaat misley saabiq wahi jismaani hai the prophets shall also taste death, but only that this state is momentary; and after that little while, their lives is similar to that past, and corporeal. aani in the first line is used as 'to come' or 'befall'. aani in the second is used as 'for a moment'.
when the angel of death took the blessed soul of the dear prophet sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he took it to the first sky, but the soul of rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam is better than that so he took it to the second sky, but the soul is better that that so he took it to the third sky and so on. it is better than the 'arsh so he asked Allah, where shall i put it? i cant find a place better than it. so Allah said to him the only place is to take it and put it back into the blessed body of rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. ibn taymiya wrote this as well. so from this is shown the hayat un nabi.
