alaHazrat says: kya mahakte haiN mahakne waale bu pe chalte haiN bhaTakne waale i want to know if this verse points towards the practice of the saHaba that when they wished to find rasulAllah sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam; they would not go here, there and everywhere. they would actually smell the paths and they would find him thus. un ki mahak ne dil ke gunche khila diye haiN jis raah chal ga'e haiN kooche basaa diye haiN it was quite a few years ago that my dad said that he could just sit and listen to hadayiq e bakhshish all day. i didn't understand why. now i know.
