Agree with you on this move sending out the wrong message and it reeks of nationalism. They should go into Syria and take the country

i believe this move by the Turkish Army is a disaster for the Turks and Sunni Muslims. It reeks of nationalism. They should have held ground there without moving that piece of Turkey.

Turks say the Ottomans were giving away all of Turkey in treaties, but the saviour Kemal Pasha came to re-assert Turkish territory and establish the modern state. But it is Kemal Pasha who actually gave away most of Turkey, even the language, and the culture.

This relocation of the tomb reminds of those happenings. Simply move the Turk to Turkey. This is the message.

This is the present day Turkish Secular Mindset, TO BRING ALL TURKS BACK TO TURKEY. Which Turkey, i ask? From Ararat to Istanbul? or into the older territories of the Ottoman Empire?

They dont want to fight for their Turks in foreign Turkish lands. The present day Turkish state is a ploy to bring all Turks and squeeze them into a peninsula, where they can be controlled easily. Much like during Partition of India, when the entire North West's Muslim population was uprooted and concentrated into Pakistani Punjab which consituted only 45% of the region's landmass, when in reality the Muslim population was in a majority over 66% of the area.

I wish Turkish army had shown similar zeal to safeguard other tombs & mausoleums of awliyas in Syria.
