    Which other Muslims have won the Nobel Prize?

    I know of Najuib Mahfouz of Egypt and both Yasser Arafat and Shirin Ibadi have won it for Peace and a Bangladeshi economist won it last year...

    Great news! Turkey's Orhan Pamuk has won the Nobel Prize for Literature.
    His novels tell of the conflict in modern Turkey and the tension between their present and their Ottoman past.

    His masterpiece, My Name is Red, is set in the reign of Sultan Murad in the 16th century and is about Islamic Art. You must read it!
