noor tv celebrated the life and works of hafiz e millat on friday. mawlana nizamuddin of bolton spoke about various aspects of his life and achievements. it is nice to see noor tv having these 2 hour sessions for the akabir. other scholars whom i think deserve such programmes [not sure if some of these have already had such programmes about them]: mawlana abdul hakim sharf qadri allama arshad ul qadri mawlana shah ahmad noorani [i am sure he has] sayyid ahmad saeed kazmi pir karam shah al-azhari mufti ahmad yar khan naeemi mawlana sardar ahmad qadri --- there are many scholars in the UK who can talk about the above. a lot of our lay public don't even know these people's names, nevermind achievements.
It was a nice gathering. Some of the 'ulama present: Mawlana Mannan Raza Khan Barelwi, great-grandson of alaHazrat Mawlana Qamaruzzaman Khan A'zmi Sayyid Hamid Sa'eed Kazmi Mufti Ayyub Ashrafi Mawlana Iqbal Misbahi Mawlana Nizamuddin Misbahi Mawlana Khairuddin Rizwi Mawlana Ismayil Misbahi It was a great tribute to a great scholar of Ahlu's Sunnah by great scholars of Ahlu's Sunnah. Mawlana Mannan Raza [Mannani MiyaN] did du'a after Salat-o-Salam and then langar sharif was served.
