Then level of ignorance is directly proportional to title i.e. level of ignorance increases with increase in title.
I really don't think that 'Imam' was used in the sense that you are making it out to have been used. 'Imam' is commonly used in SA.
why maaf bro... you make a point fair and square you're right, your phrasing is accurate but i was thinking at the moment - 'deeper the ignorance sinks, higher the title rises'
Sign of Qiyamat Maaf but that's double negative. You meant to say that their titles are inversely proportional to their levels of knowledge i.e. level of knowledge decreases with increase in title. Anyway its a superb analysis and its also a sign of Qiyamat that people will be known by titles they dont deserve @Shaykh_ul_Islam_Dr_Tahir_ul_Qadri @Grand_Mufti_of_India_Mufti_Taqi_Uthmani @Wali_Nuh_Keller @Hakeem_ul_Ummah_Ashraf_Ali_Thanvi
you keep humoring me again. i don't belong to the ht, but fwiw, this guys a bigger menace than ht! do you even know the meaning of "bigot"?
Absolute trash. No proof that he has a problem with state implementation of Shari'a. He was asked a question specifically about Hizb ut-tahrir. Really, what comes from your typing is pure slander. If he's advised people to stay clear of Hizb ut-tahrir, it's only a good thing. Only a bigot like yourself can turn this video into something else.
you can't understand english and it's very clear who you are. you also don't understand that regardless of what words your imam or anyone uses, the end product is not the khilafah itself, but rather the state implementation of the Shari3ah. it's understandable why some people will have a problem with the state implementation of the Shari3ah, and it's also understandable how people with inferiority complexes need a western convert to make them feel better about themselves without scrutinizing what he/she actually says.
i don't see him downplaying the importance of khilafah at all. He's quite right in saying khilafah is not the solution to everything. saying that and saying the khilafah is not important is not the same. what is it exactly that he says that leads you to believe 'this guy comes across as a stooge for the west'? err..... watch it again. he's talking about the decline of the ummah happening way before the Ottoman caliphate had ended. During the Rashida era, the ummah was at its peak. You're just a bigot, it's so obvious from your post that you just hate the Imam. Your points are just ridiculous. Go join HT.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=VcVK4S9H6oQ i'm no ht fan, but here this guy comes across as a stooge for the west with his downplaying on Muslim leadership and the khilafah. in short, he is downplaying on the state implementation of the Shari3ah. why did he only mention the Ottomans who did keep the power balance in favor of the Muslims for a long time? why doesn't he mention the Khilafatur Rashidah? in fact, one of the reasons for the decline of the Ottoman empire was moral decay. the empire did not decline because it was run by the Shari3ah, but rather because it had started drifting away from it, among some other reasons. and that 'if they can cook well' joke was quite dumb. one would expect a better sense of humor from these hip n chick western convert scholars that are treated like trophies by so many eastern and born Muslims, or is it compulsory for us to laugh at their pathetic jokes too? gotta love the title of "imam" too! it seems the titles are inversely proportional to their levels of ignorance!
