Shân H.abîb-ur-Rah.mân min Âyâtil Qur’ân

By Shaykh al Hadîth w’al Tafsîr Muftî Ah.mad Yâr Khân Na’îmî Badâyûnî

(may Allah have mercy on him!)

Translated from the Urdu by AJ Nashbandi

Verse 1: Huwa’l awwalu w’al âkhiru wa-z.z.âhiru w’al bât.in. Wa huwa bikullî shay’in ‘alîm. (Qur’ân: 57: 3)

He is the First, He is the Last, He is the Manifest, He is the Hidden and He knows everything (Qur’an: 57:3)

Shaykh ‘Abdul Haqq Muhaddith Dehlawî said in the introduction of the book Madârij al Nabuwwah that this verse is both praise of the Lord and also laudation [na’at] of the Chosen One (s.al Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam). The Prophet is the first before all and the last and manifest to all and also hidden from all and the Prophet ‘alayhisalâm knows everything. He is first in this manner that in this world and the Afterlife, in every place he is before all; for his light [nûr] was created before all else: awwalû mâ khalaqallahû nûrî. In terms of the material body, Prophet Âdam is the father of the Prophet but in reality the Prophet is the father of Âdam (upon them be peace!). In appearance the flower is from the tree but in reality the tree is from the flower.

In appearance he is my offspring, in reality he is my essence

That is the cry of the Father of Mankind in memory of that rose!

-Ala Hazrat

His Excellency, the Prophet (s.allâhu ‘alayhî wa sallam) is the flower of the garden of this world. He received Prophethood before everyone else. He himself said, “ Kuntû nabîyyan-wa Âdamû bayna-t.t.aynî w’al-mâ’” (I was a Prophet whilst Adam was still between water and clay); on the day of mîthâq he was the first to reply to the words, “Am I not your Lord?” with “balâ” (“yes!”); on the Day of Judgement his radiant tomb will be the first to be opened and he will be the first to be given permission to prostrate; he will intercede before anybody else and the gate of intercession will be opened by his holy hand. He will be the first to have the gates of Paradise opened and he will be the first to enter it, followed by the rest of the Prophets. His nation [ummah] will be the first to enter Paradise followed by the other nations. In other words at every place the diadem of ‘first’ has been placed on his head! The first day, Friday, has also been given to him. Nevertheless despite this degree of primacy he is also the Last. He was the last Prophet to appear. The title, ‘Seal of the Prophets’ belongs to him. He received the Book after everyone else. His religion [dîn] came after all the others and his religion will remain until the Last Day:

How do we know how many stars shone and then disappeared?

But (the sun) of our Prophet has not and will never set!

(Ala Hazrat)

This was the secret in the prayer during the Night Journey:

That the meanings of First and Last be revealed

For they are standing behind him with folded hands

Those who had reigned in previous times!

(Ala Hazrat)

Would people like me to translate more excerpts from this marvellous, unique, book by Shaykh Muftî Ah.mad Yâr Khân Na’îmî Badâyûnî alayhirahmaH?

that would really be great. Also if you can translate excerpts from Shan-e-'Habibul Bari Min rawayat al- Bukhari and Shan-e-'Habibul Mun'im min rawayat al-Muslim. perhaps the author is Ghulam Rasool mujaddidi or Ghulam Mustafa Sae'edi. both are excellent and a must read books.

Reminder:

sidi abu 'Hassan you started translating the fatawa from fatawa radhawiyyah, we haven't see any thing new for long.

Brother NJ! I'm excited! I just found out that one of my friends has begun the complete translation of the masterpiece. He is the one who has translated the same Hadrat Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan's Ja'al Haq that has been available in the U.K. He informed me that Sultaanat-e-Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has also been translated into english. I can't wait to get my hands on the manuscript.

Thats great news Chishti -Raza --lets hope that the quality of the language is also good. Nothing detracts more than poor translation. AND please tell the brother to publish it in subdued colours without garish photographs/paintings on the cover and bright green lettering etc. Subcontinental Sunnis have this thing for garishness!!

I hear you brother. You took the words out of my mouth. I mentioned the same when I recently spoke to him :) They are the very same team that worked on the Ja-al Haq project that was published a few years ago and that was quite a fair product (my humble view anyway). http://www.sunniport.com/masabih/showthread.php?t=5449

Yes, it's the same person. The book was initially published in S.A and a reprint was done in the U.K. Ahsanul Ulema publications is the publishing wing of Darul Uloom Qadiria Ghareebun Nawaaz in S.A.

the true concept of iman

by hakim al-ummah maulana allama mufti ahmed yar khan.

english translation by maulana abd al-hadi.

the contents of this book will safeguard unsuspecting muslims from falling prey to these hypocrites.

THE CONCEPT OF ALAH

Due to a lack of knowledge and spiritual insight, the general public has lost their sense of judgement and understanding. the following state of affairs has prevailed:

*ppl who speak fluent arabic or urdu are regarded as ulema.one who is eloquent in lecturing is regarded as gr8 alim.

*one who wears colorful clothes and dances to music is regarded as a gr8 sufi

*one who writes tawiz or attends to the sick or oppressed is a wali.who quotes ayahs of the quran and ahadith sharif at every opportunity is a dynamic leader

*one who always seen calling ppl to the masajid and going door to door, country to country on tabligh mission is a pious and true servant of islam.

incredible book. a must for naive gullible sunnis.

Ghareebun Nawaaz
sorry for being nitpicky but ghareeb nawaaz means : one who favors the poor;

ghareebu'n nawaz means 'poor in granting favors' (apart from this being an arabic construct upon persian words)

Allah ta'ala knows best.

May Allah forgive me. JazakAllah for this brother A.H.
Indeed I take this as the reflection of the saving grace of Sayyiduna Ala Hadrat!
