This khabees ul ummat had a filthy mind since his childhood, like urinating on his elder brother's head, keeping filthy clothes of his nani as tabarruk (he is the narrator of this hikayat. How could he stay behind and don't seek barakah from his nani's feces.)
That incident was about Bi Ummi, the grandmother of the founder of Tablighi Jama’at, Molvi Ilyas Kandhelvi. This incident is mentioned in the book Tazkira-tul-Khalīl, written by Molvi ‘Ashiq Ilahi Meerathi, Pg. 96-97:
1.
Bi Ummi lived to a ripe age and saw her great-grandchildren. At the end of her life, she lost her sight and could not walk, and she remained bedridden for three years in a state of terminal illness, but there was no difference in her Qalbī and Lisānī Zikr of Allah, nor was there any decrease in her patience and contentment. For a patient who has had loose motions for three years in such a way that it is difficult to even turn over, it was not unreasonable to think that the stench of the bed was such that even the washerman would not go near it. But the onlookers saw that upon lifting her from the bed for bathing, when folded pieces of cloth were removed from the bed, which were kept underneath her (to absorb the filth), instead of a foul smell such an amazing fragrance emanated from them that each person would give the cloth to the other to smell, and all present were astonished. So the cloths were not washed and were kept as Tabarruk.

In the book Kamalat e Ashrafia, Pg. 142-143 Thanvi gives the following Fatwa:
Someone asked if they receive Mithaī of Giyarvī Sharīf, what should they do with it, the answer is that it should be buried, and there is a fear of provoking anger among the people in destroying it.
According to the Deobandi Akabirīn, keeping pieces of soiled cloth as Tabarruk is permissible, but the Mithaī of Giyarvī Sharīf is so impure that it cannot even be fed to an animal, rather it should be buried. This is the hate they have for the Awliya.
