Kia hee zauq afzaa shafa’at hai tumhaari, waah waah
Qarz leti hai gunaah parhezgaari waah waah
How encouraging is your intercession, O master! A wonder, a wonder!
Piety requests some sins as a loan! A wonder, a wonder!
Khaama e Qudrat ka husne dast kaari waah waah
Kia hi tasweer apne pyaare ki sanwaari waah waah
Oh the beauty of the creation that received His special attention! A wonder, a wonder!
How well has He crafted the image of His beloved! A wonder, a wonder!
Ungliyaan hain faiz par toote hai pyaase jhoom kar,
Nadiyaan punjaab e rehmat ki hain jaari waah waah
The fingers give out blessings, the thirsty rush ahead in ecstasy,
The five rivers of mercy gush forth! A wonder, a wonder!
Kia Madeeney se saba aayi ke phoolon me hai aaj
Kuchh nayee bu bheeni bheeni pyaari pyaari, waah waah
Has the breeze from Madeena come? For I sense in the flowers today,
A novel fragrance, sweet and light! A wonder, a wonder!
Is taraf Rawze ka noor, us samt minbar ki bahaar
Beech me Jannat ki pyaari pyaari kyaari, waah waah
On one side is the light of the tomb, the blossom of the pulpit on the other,
In between is a lovely nursery of Paradise! A wonder, a wonder!
Sadkey is Inaam ke, qurbaan us ikraam ke
Ho rahi hai donon aalm me tumhaari waah waah
May I be sacrificed, upon your greatness here and your status in the hereafter!
Being hymned is your praise in both the worlds! A wonder, a wonder!
Ashk shab bhar intezaar e afw e ummat me bahein
Mein fidaa chaand aur youn akhtar shumaari, waah waah
The tears roll down all night, awaiting the salvation of the nation,
May I be sacrificed, the moon counts the stars, wide-awake! A wonder, a wonder!
Nafs yeh kia zulm hai, jab dekho taaza jurm hai,
Na tawaan ke sar peh itna bojh bhaari, waah waah
O my soul! Why do you oppress with a new sin at every juncture?
Such a heavy burden on the head of a frail one? A wonder, a wonder!
Paara e dil bhi na nikla, dil se tohfe me Raza,
Un sagaane ku se itni jaan pyaari, waah waah
O Raza! You did not even gift them a piece from your heart!
You love yourself more than the dogs of Madeena? A wonder, a wonder!
