the above article carries a very good example of covert propaganda - or journalistic dishonesty. the author writes:

"Plan Colombia, the biggest US aid package to any country outside the Middle East, has seen almost $3 billion poured into largely military resources over the past five years."(emphasis added)

it gives the impression that as if aid is given to muslim countries, whereas the author should have said 'israel'.
