سيدى الشيخ غلام محمد التونسوي رضي الله تبارك و تعالى عنه يدرس فى هذا الفيديو كتاب شرح التهذيب (كتاب فى علم المنطق) كان سيدى الشيخ إمام المنطق فى عصره و جامع منقولات و معقولات. هو تلميذ سيدنا الشيخ المحدث الأعظم الباكستان مولانا العلامة سردار أحمد القادرى الرضوي و استاذ العرب و العجم امام المنطق الشيخ عطاء محمد البنديالوى الجشتى رضي الله تعالى عنهم أجمعين.

Yes he does. Hazrat asks is it videoing, and then Hazrat says it should only be audio; then the person recording says it is only audio; even though it is clearly not. Why would you lie to your teacher and video record him, when he explicitly says it should only be audio? Though I feel I benefitted from the video, it was highly wrong to lie ot the shaykh (rahimahullah) and make the video in this way.
 
He was a good man. He said live on takbeer TV in his first appearance that his teacher, Muhaddith e Azam Pakistan Sardar Ahmad Qadri Rizwi rahimahullah was so staunch that he wouldn't shake hands with Wahabis and Deobandis. Tonswi Sahib said that supportingly.

I agree what kind of student would deceive his own teacher? Sickening. As the Shaykh has left this world I think the picture should be removed and sound left. There is no beneficial knowledge without adab
 
His sweet accent and his blessed face depicts Multanis of Pakhtoon descent, like the Sheranis.

One of the greatest contemporary scholars of southern Punjab.
 
"Meri taswir na howe, taqreer howe..." can be translated as:
"It should not be my picture, but [record] my speach..."

It can be interpreted as the following two ways:

1) It should not be my picture --> I don't want a video/photo
but [record] my speach... ---> I only want an audio recording

2) It should not be my picture --> I don't just a photo to be taken
but [record] my speach... ---> My speach should also be recorded

Maybe the student interpreted it in the second way.
Also from what brother Aqdas said, the Shaykh was not against being filmed.
Which makes a stronger case for the second interpretation.
 
Ustadh Sahib, Mawlana Ghulam Muhammad Tawnsawi (rahimahu Allah) appeared on TV many times, and their pictures are available on the internet abundantly. In relation to the posted video, I got in contact with the brothers who uploaded it and they informed me that they showed the recording to Mawlana after it was done and they then approved of it. Mawlana Tawnsawi's son can second to that he was present during the recording.
