A common mistake that some naat khwaans do when reading 'Mustafa Jaane Rehmat pe Lakhon salaam.'

They read the last sher - 'mujhse kidmat ke qudsi kahe ha Raza, Mustafa Jaane rehmat pe lakhon salaam'

BUT, that sher is incomplete without the previous sher being read before: 'Kaash mehshar mein jab unki aamad Ho aur, Behje Sab unki shokat pe lakhon salaam.'
 
Another widely committed mistake is "mujhse khidmat ke qudsi kahe ha Raza, Ya Nabi Salaam Alayka", i.e. jumping straight into "Ya Nabi Salaam Alayka" without completing the last sher. Unfortunately very commonly done in most Pakistani mosques in UK.

I vaguely remember seeing on this forum few years back a Huzoor Taj us-Shariah's fatwa against this common mistake.
 
O I wish, that when he arrives in the field of resurrection,
And everyone sends millions of salutations upon his lofty station,
May the angels around him, at his service say so to me,
"Yes O Raza! Recite 'Millions of salutations upon the Chosen One, the Soul of Mercy'."
 
very common indeed. the last two verses are so spiritual and deep and many a times make one's hair stand on their ends but the incorrect reading takes the whole ecstasy component out of it. It's as if people recite without understanding what they are saying.
