Can any learned brother explain, is the interpretation of the modern state of Israel, correctly interpreted from these Ayat e Karima, (after the link)?

Surah al-Ma'idah:
[5:24] They said, ‘O Moses, we will never enter it so long as they are in it. So go forth, you and your Lord, and fight, them, we will be sitting here’, away from the fighting.
[5:25] He, Moses, thereupon, said, ‘My Lord, I control none but myself and my brother, and I control no one else to be able to force them to obedience. So separate, distinguish, us from the wicked folk’.
[5:26] He, God, exalted be He, said, to him: ‘Then it, the Holy Land, shall be forbidden them, to enter, for forty years; they shall wander lost, bewildered, in the land; so do not grieve for the wicked folk’.

When bani Israel came up to the land of Canaan, the modern day Israel (plus parts of Lebanon, Syria & Jordan), they were spooked by the tall, strong people of Canaan. In one of the reconnaissance mission, a strongman of Canaan even stuffed couple of Israelites into his pocket/bag. Fearful of the prospect of fighting the mighty people of Canaan, bani Israel refused to budge and rebelled against the command of Musa (alayhis salaam) and Allah (azza wajal). The land of Israel which was promised was spurned.


Again in Surah al-Baqara:
(2:246) What do you think about the council of the tribe of Israel after Musa’s time when they said to one of their Prophets, ‘Give us a king and we will fight in the Way of Allah!’? He said, ‘Is it not possible that if fighting were prescribed for you, you would not fight?’ They said, ‘How could we not fight in the way of Allah when we have been driven from our homes and children?’ But then when fighting was prescribed for them, they turned their backs – except for a few of them. Allah knows the wrongdoers.


The holy Qur'an cites numerous transgressions of jews, who incurred the wrath of Allah (azza wajal) and were put through several trials and tribulations. Jews squandered several favours, including the right to the promised land. Likewise, there are few verses mentioning how the jews were exalted over everyone; but it is universally understood that the jews were only exalted over the people of their own times, rather than over everyone to come, including the Muslims.

In Babri masjid judgement, Haji Ali dargah judgement, triple talaq judgement etc. the hindu judges have cited how the Qur'an says otherwise and hence Muslims should be denied these (and others) on the basis of their own scriptures!

The land was condition upon the jews fulfilling a covenant which they failed to uphold. Check Biblical references for this. The fact that they were driven from that land proves the point, because Allah Almighty upholds his Promises because He is the Truth and He is Just.
