Legitimate Shaykhs/Muqaddams of Tariqa in the US?

I know that this is mostly a UK forum, but I was wondering if anyone knows of legitimate shuyukh of tasawwuf in the US? I have heard of a khalifah of Taj-us-Shari'ah (rahmatullah alayh) in NYC, but that is about it.
