it appears there is a mistake on page 5 in footnote 6 regarding shaykh aabid al-sindi. a quote is mentioned which is attributed to shaykh abdullah siraj, however upon checking the biography of the imam which is referenced in the footnote, it appears that this quote is not that of shaykh abdullah siraj but rather of shaykh muHammad ibn yaHya al-turruhti.

the screenshot shows the quotes of the two scholars, and it can be observed that the quote of shaykh muHammad ibn yaHya al-turruhti is mistakenly attributed to shaykh abdullah siraj.

Just to ensure clarity: this book I've quoted below makes reference to a Mawlānā ʿAbd Allāh al-Sirāj al-Makkī, who authored a commentary on Alahazrat's al-Dawlah and later became the Prime Minister of Jordan. His birth year is 1296h, which corresponds to the individual profiled here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdallah_Siraj

Wikipedia says he was the son of a ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sirāj al-Makkī.

In Alahazrat's sanad, the ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sirāj al-Makkī mentioned in the guide is said to have been born in 1249h—making him chronologically senior to the aforementioned Mawlānā ʿAbd Allāh. This ʿAbd al-Raḥmān is identified as the son of a Mawlānā ʿAbd Allāh al-Sirāj al-Makkī, born in 1200h, (and probably the same person from the screenshotin @Umar99 post as passing away in 1264h) who in turn was the son of another ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sirāj al-Makkī.

My question is whether the Mawlānā ʿAbd Allāh al-Sirāj al-Makkī, who annotated al-Dawlah and later became Prime Minister of Jordan, is related to the ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sirāj al-Makkī found in the sanad

shaykh abul khayr mirdad is one of the signatories of both dawlah and husam. the above book has information about ulama of makkah at that time. however it appears that the manuscript is missing pages - almost half the book is missing - Allah knows what happened.

the edited mukhtasar has been around for quite some time..
