O dev! As soon as I heard this from Sayyidi Khadim Husayn Ridawi, I realised he has probably mixed up Asqalani with Qastallani. Easy mistake to make.

How does mixing up Asqalani and Qastallani negate the point being made? Donkey.

I once had an episode with a devbandi who didn't have any answer and he just couldn't take it anymore and had to badmouth me to people.

I told him to just read the Burdah and the Dalail Al-Khayrat and their shuruh by non-subcontinentals and see for yourself who's the oddball out compared to nondesi Sunnis, and he was seriously furious. Now that mardood zaleel too is forced to run his mouth against Arab Turkish North African etc. Sunnis coz apparently we Barelvis are bankrolling them and luring them with love of dünya.

Can usman or zameel also slap a fatwa on their leader, the pioneer of modern day spam mails, ashraf ali thanwi? zameel has been at it for a while against istighatha.

Talking of Dalail ul-Khayrat, I recently came across a deobandi compiler's (named Abdur Razzaq) foreword/notes to his compilation.

He explicitly advises his (deobandi) readers to ignore the true meanings of "extreme" words (for asma un-Nabi sallalahu alayhi wasallam) like Ghiyath, Kashif al-Qurb etc. and instead assume a more compatible meanings.

What an unfortunate dolt! Why do deobandis even bother/pretend to read Dalail ul-Khayrat? It just won't go beyond their throat.
