very funny coming from bhakts who are openly removing mention of Muslims from history books. at least be a sensible enemy like the chinese! hindu "smartness" is incredibly stupid.

what would be good Urdu books on Muslim history (political and religious) of the subcontinent, written by Muslim historians, preferably with some sort of isnad (using the word loosely) going back, or referencing other Muslim historians or transcribers of the Muslim dominance era - in or out of Darse Nizami?

in English it would be a pain navigating through orientalist and western distortions, biases, subtexts, undertones etc.

This junagadh dargah was built in 1938, when land registration etc. were not needed for waqf properties. Mind you, Junagadh was a Muslim-ruled princely state, which was forcibly annexed in 1948 by India.

Now the abominable hindu-ruled municipality is claiming that it was built on government encroached land and has been threatening to demolish the dargah because the title deed papers are not in order.

after the "roaring" success of propaganda movie Kashmir Files and outright islamophobic The Kerala Story, the hindu machinery has now lined up the latest project "72 Hoorain".

All the while, the judiciary looks away and deliberately abets screening (in non-bjp states which try to ban the movie); the same judiciary which is ever so quick to aid the ban or uphold the protest from the right-wing senas for slightest, imagined hurt (case in point, Padmavati)

Cinema is being weaponised by the state to target Indian Muslims as big film-makers are being mobilised for furthering the majoritarian project. Eerily reminiscent of nazi germany.

not counting the "Muslim" star cast or cheerleaders for these projects, and i'm not just talking desi, even khaleeji cheerleaders

sadly, some level headed nonMuslim keralites objected to the kerala story. i think the film industry is in its dying throes partly due to netflix/online content, so thats the only way they can keep alive and stay relevant.
