Sunnis are becoming used to 2nd degree translations.
Anwarul hadith : translated from urdu.
Sharhus sudoor : translated from urdu.
Ad dawlah : use of urdu translations as well.
It almost seems as if we have no arabic speaking scholars.
Adab al mufrad, riyadus saliheen, ihya uloom. All these gems have been translated by sullahs/deviants.
Look at the seerah books, they have numerous seerah books in volumes. What did we have? Seerate mustafa (which was not even properly translated,old edition), thanks to Mawlana kalim for upgrading this work and the list continues.
Even the translations of kanzul imaan are not very good. Its of course way better than reading a dubious translation by a deviant.
But i think the brothers point was : 'deviants have tones of literature,numerous qur'an translations, in their libraries for the laity, what do we sunnis have?'
