I've heard it pronounced Farabri and Shaykh Abu Hasan also wrote Farabri on other threads. Nevertheless:

al ansab of al-sam'ani (d. 562 AH) 4/359

farabri - fat'h of faa and raa, sukun of baa

ansab, v4p359.png

however, firabri is also correct

i have verified it from various works that mention this variation.

qadi iyad in his mashariq al-anwar, 2/679, says that the one with kasrah firabr is right, though it is also with fat'hah as affirmed by ibn makula and daraqutni (in his mu'talif wa'l mukhtalif).

---
then we have yaqut al-hamawi in his mu'juam al-buldan, who affirms it as firabri.

----
murtada zabidi in taj al-arus, 13/311 cites this as the standard, and also acknowledging the fat'hah:

=====
ibn al-athir in his lubab fi tahzib al-ansab, mentions only with fat'hah:

====
dhahabin in siyar v15/p11 says that farabri with fat'hah is more famous, but with kasrah is also correct:
