Hukm on watching Anime

Japanese cartoon/Anime is gaining more & more prominence among the Muslim youth, specially the so-called "Young Intellectual Class"

They delude themselves into believing that it is a more "Islamic" alternative to western movies.
Unlike "western degenerate slop", it explores "deep themes" of philosophy, metaphysics & morals & helps cultivate a person's understanding of the world.

Unfortunately this is further reinforced by Conditional fatwaas which do not categorically reject watching animes, leaving "loopholes" for people to exploit. An example from Faraz rabbani's approved Seeker's guidance;

"The rulings about viewing members of the opposite sex are restricted to human beings. It is permissible for a man to look at a woman’s cartoon image, provided he does so without desire. According to the Shafi’i School, looking at any object with desire, even a stone, is impermissible, and Allah knows best"

Women figures in such cartoons are even more pronounced & indecent than some real life movies, Themes of blasphemy, Magic & Shirk are recurrent & people who obsess over anime (weebs) are known to be one of the most degenerate people with the most perverted of fantasies, because anything is possible in the fictitious world.

My Question is,
Is the correct fatwa, to conditionally declare anime haraam or categorically declare it haraam by default.

This matter might seem banal to some, but it is a rampant issue Among the youth, A clear cut fatwa would really be beneficial in clearing out the fog.

Example of attempts to normalize watching Anime ;

Furthermore, there was an anime made about the event of the elephant.
From what I understand, it was a collaboration between saudi Arabia and japan.
But - I haven't watched it - from what I have heard, they revolved the story around a fictional potter who has a wife named Hind and gains advice throughout the movie by Muttalib.

The character of Muttalib is meant to represent Hazrat Abdul Mutallib. But maybe due to respect that we sunnis have, they thought to not include hazrat Abdul Muttalib (and rightly so).

But they literally named him Muttalib and depicted him as well. The story also revolves around the life of a fictional character.

AIs say that japan tried to not include that muslims find sensitive, and consulted with scholars whilst making this (likely wahabi scholars if this is true) They also removed Dio stepping on minaretes of masajid in egypt from the manga and the anime after the Egyptian people protested. But the hukm on them can still only be explained by an alim
But still, saudi knew about all this and they still included it.

Should this be a reason for boycotting anime and saudi and would this count as gustakhi?

I know you told me to let it go hazrat but I am asking for a different reason. Basically, before I knew about this and real meaning of, lahw I made a contract with my siblings (in order to motivate them to finish the Qur'an) that when they have read the entire Qur'an e paak, I will watch a particular anime with them. May Allah forgive me. Ameem
