Alahazrat authored ‘Surūr al-ʿĪd al-Saʿīd fī Ḥall al-Duʿāʾ Baʿd Ṣalāt al-ʿĪd’ in response to an istiftāʾ which mentioned that Mawlānā ʿAbd al-Ḥayy al-Lakhnawī stated that duʿāʾ after the ʿĪd prayer is not established from the Sunnah, the Ṣaḥābah, or the Salaf

Alahazrat presented two full chains for a report from the Tābiʿī, Sayyidī Ibrāhīm al-Nakhaʿī in which he substantiated that supplicating after Ṣalāt al-ʿĪd was done during their era

Observe the exquisiteness and grand stature of this august chain of transmission; for its transmitters, from our Shaykh down to the founder of the school, al-Imām al-Aʿẓam, are, without exception, among the greatest luminaries and celebrated authorities of the Ḥanafī school - the greater part of whom are authors of treatises of the [Ḥanafī] madh'hab
