Actually there is difference of opinion on ibn taymiyya and ibn arabi. Some scholars called ibn taymiyya a kafir, some scholars called ibn arabi a kafir. But there are also those who called ibn taymiyya as shaykh al islam and the ones who called ibn arabi as shaykh al Akbar.
So we should basically leave their matter to Allah. And afterall we are not obligated to research and form opinions about the people who lived in the past.
Some positions attributed to ibn taymiyya are kufr. Some positions attributed to ibn arabi are also kufr. But whether they held those views or not, or maybe they repented from it. Allah knows best
