The Imam of the Ahlus Sunnah, Sayyid Ahmad Sa'id Kazmi rahimahullah once had a conversation with a Wahabi.
The Wahabi asked, do you consider the grave of Rasoolallah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam to be better than the Ka'ba? Imam Kazmi replied, I consider it to be better than even the 'Arsh of Allah. The Wahabi asked for proof.
Imam Kazmi said that from the Qur'an we know that if you thank Allah, he gives you more. 'Isa 'alaihis salam was thankful, so Allah took him to the 4th sky. Now, he has been there for 2000 years and has been more thankful day after day.
So, if the 'Arsh of Allah was holier, Allah would raise his rank and take him to the 'Arsh but we know that his rank will be raised because Allah will send him down to Earth and to be buried in the place holier than the 'Arsh which is the grave of Rasoolallah arwahuna fidahu sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam.
'Allama Ghulam Rasul Sa'idi quoted this incident in his brief biography of Imam Kazmi in his book 'Maqalat-e-Sa'idi'.
