On many occasions we, laymen, hear ahadith which are weak. Is it obligatory for us to act upon these as ordered in these until we find the exact approach or just to ignore? I was once told to examine the basic concept of such ahadith. Secondly, what is the 'status' of weak ahadith in fiqhi, shar'ai matters?
