Tajweed is Fard al-Ayn

alaHazrat says in fatawa ridawiya that reciting the qur'an correctly in salah is fard. the minimum requirement is that the letters can be told apart. sayyid na'imuddin muradabadi says a similar thing under the tafsir of warattilil qur'aana tarteela. and mawlana abu'l hasanat ahmad qadri in his muqaddima of a work on tajweed.

now, what if someone does not know whether, for example, waSbir [have patience] is with a seen or a Saad. they then cannot differentiate.

carrying on from this. one does know, fo example, that walaD Daalleen is with a Daad and not a daal or Salah is with a Saad not a Seen; but in their qir'at, they do not/cannot differentiate. what is the state of their salah?

The one who does not know whether it is sin or sad, it is a problem in his memorization, so he must correct it or recite some other verses.

But one who knows, and tries his best, but cannot pronounce, he is given double reward according to hadith, and his prayer is valid, and he is not to be blamed.

Since tajweed is fard al ayn, does the lack of tajweed in an individual mean he is not fit to be a murshid? I'm not talking about an inability to pronounce correctly despite trying- I'm talking about those who have never learnt in the first place. Wouldn't it be similar to having a pir who doesn't know rulings related to wudu etc- it's all fard al ayn which every muslim should know, let alone pir responsible for the islah of his mureeds.
 
I don't think this is how he recites ordinarily from what I've seen- looking at the mistakes in this video, and to have a generous interpretation, it gives the vibes of someone suffering a bout of confusion in their old age?
