i liked the way alaHazrat translated the first part of the first verse of this sura.

asra means travel by night
layl means night

so, the verse mentions travelling by night twice. hence, alaHazrat translates it as ratoN raat so that night is mentioned twice in the translation too!

does ratoN raat mean a small part of the night?
