Maktubat of Imam Rabbani

AbdalQadir

time to move along! will check pm's.
Salam Alaikum brothers and sisters in Ahlus Sunnah

I am a new member on here (as you can see :) ). Alhamdulillah on the Hanafi madhab and Qadiri tariqah insha Allah.

Can someone please advise me regarding Imam Rabbani's (rahimahullah) Maktubat shareef if at all they have been translated into English and if so are they online? Are the Urdu volumes available online?

Jazakum'Allahu khayr.

the books by the late shaykh huseyn hilmi raHimahullah printed from turkey have translations from maktubat. endless bliss: vol.2 and vol.3 have many such translations.

you can download them from here:

---
the translations are hurried and not very well organized (the translator's comments and explanations sometimes overtake the original text and get mixed up); the transliteration has a turkish influence (h is used for kha and vice-versa; c for j) and the composition is crowded.

yet, it is a useful resource for someone who is desperate to get something from maktubat.

---
i suppose the urdu translation was also available online somewhere and the farsi is available from hakikat kitabevi.

Shaykh Naeem Abdul Wali has done an audio commentary on the Maktubat of Imam Rabanni. I believe it's a 12 CD set. Might want to do a search on the net as I am sure you will be able to find it somewhere.

the translations
Salam
Would you recommend the translations of the books of the shaykh? I have searched the forum and did see a lot of praise for the books. I just wanted to confirm that the books are free from any deviations and that was the reason for recommendation, or was it a martin lings' seerah sort of a recommendations where the book does have aberrations but is good as well.
I am just a laypersin who is looking to enhance knowledge, especially in tazkiyah in sha Allah, so I really want a book where I dont have to actively be watching out for deviations please.
