Prof.Tahir ul Qadri on Takbeer TV on Shia

I have seen an advert on Takbeer TV that says Prof. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri will be delivering a series of lectures against the Shia. It should be interesting.

I have heard some people say he is a shia, including the sunni-talk website. How can he be a shia if he is refuting the Shia? What people are saying does not make sense at all.

Plus, if he was a Shia and not Sunni then why would Pir Fayaaz ul Hasan and Pir Nayaaz Sain Sahib allow him on his channel, and why would ulama like Allama Zafrullah Shah Sahib and Allama Yaar Muhammad appear on a channel which has Shias on it? Remember the series is presented by Takbeer TV (it's not private).
 
Abu fadl likes Dr Tahir Qadri now. Why such a change in opinion of him. Is it becuase he is tafzili also.
 
Where did I say I like him and have changed my opinion? The people that like him are the Sultan Bahu Trust who have called him on their channel. What a silly comment you made, you should be making that comment about them!

I didn't ever call him a shia though and I don't what his view is on who is greater - Abu Bakr or Ali. The point is that Pir Sahibs Fayaaz Sain and Nayaaz Sain, and Mufti Yaar Sahib do not consider him to be a shia because they would not let a shia on their channel. Anyway why would a shia refute his own mazhab?!

If all or the majority of Sunni leaders accept him then what does it matter what I think. I will follow whatever our Ulama and Pirs decide. More of them look like they are favouring him now including the Sain brothers and I have no problem if that means changing my opinion. I have respect for them and their work. I don't do zidd for the sake of it like you guys do.
 
Pir Abdul Qadir is also now a fan of him, and Pir sahib has attacked him in many videos.

Its All a political game. A bit like Pakistani Politics.
 
How is he a fan? From the videos I have seen of Pir Sahib he has not even mentioned his name once, in any context. Perhaps you can show a video to back up your words? I hope it's not lies again.

You say he is tafzili, so does that mean all of Sultan Bahu trust and Takbeer TV are now tafzeeli or tafzeeli supporters? Not to mention the other organisations.

When Prof. Tahir-ul-Qadri is in Birmingham, all the Ulama of Birmingham attend his gatherings as listeners including Sultan Bahu Trust, Faizan-e-Rasool, Moulana Gul Rehman, Moulana Mansoor alAzhari etc. Are they all shias?

To my know knowledge Pir Jilani Sahib has never even met him never mind doing programmes together or being fans?

Hz Qadri Sb is a v great scholar who is working hard to save the Ummat and Pakistan. Then he will rise the Ummat and make Pakistan a leading country.

Hz Pir Abdul Qadri is having a conference in Birmingha, where all of the Ulemas and Pirs will be present. They wouldn't do that if there was anything wrong with him.

Stop trying to make disunity. The Sunnis have to unite. Remember Data Darbar which is the Qutb of The Sunnis got bombed. Wake up.
 
1986, you having a joke? How long ago was that compared to all those Ulama that are CURRENTLY working with him!

Plus in the 1986 Nottingham video (I saw it on the web a while ago so it is available) there was a difference between the two scholars and Pir Jilani Sahib made it clear in his speech where he rebutted the comments made by Prof. Sahib. I never recall them working together. The one who rebuts him is the target of hatred for you guys but the ones that are close to him are praised or ignored by you guys.

It just shows how ridiculous you guys are. Mufti Gul Sahib is president of Minhaj scholars UK but he gets no mention. You have not answered Sultan Bahu Trust's full support to Prof Sahib and him appearing on takbeer tv.
 
Interesting...he says I am not tackling this as a munazir who has a sole aim of destroying the other side but as a neutral who wishes to bring Shia to the middle way. He says there are problems on this side too with some people today claiming to be Sunnis but are actually kharjis who border on the bughz of Ali or that the bughz of Ali is already inside them.

That would be Deobandis claiming to be 'sunni'.

As for real sunnis there is no one who has bughz for Mawla Ali rdiyAllahu anhu.

Tahir Qadri is a politician and tries keeping everyone happy.
 
I am not sure about that because he refers to people who from his own maslak saying that there are problems with ulama from our camp too. He says he spent the last 12 years discussing the maqam of the Ahl-e-Bait and defending their status because of people not talking about their status enough.

He complained strongly that if you talk about Hadrat Ali a lot, people start accusing you of being a shia and we know that it is some of our own barelwis that accuse Prof Tahir ul Qadri himself of being a Shia. This is what he referred to as border-line bughz or inherent bughz of Hadrat Ali found in some so called Sunnis as he calls them.
 
That is far from reality. It is only when people make claims like: There is no ijma' on tafdil of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr radiyAllah anhu, the wives are not from Ahl ulBayt, Abu Bakr radiyAllahu anhu was on Khalifa in dunya and not spirituality etc etc Insulting of Mu'awiya radiyAllahu anhu...

Otherwise there are no problems..
