Minhaji Fata Morgana
An examination of Prof. Tahir’s embellished narrative of the Najran and Abyssinian delegations

The arrival of the delegations of Najrān and Abyssinia is being misquoted and misused by unscrupulous or ignorant people and a distorted picture is slowly gaining credence; hopefully, this paper will clarify misconceptions and doubts planted by enemies of religion. Indeed, the Prophet sallAllāhu `alayhi wa sallam was exemplary in his kindness and politeness, but he never condoned false beliefs, nor did he encourage people to remain on their own false ideas about God and religion.

Ma sha Allah. Excellent work by the brother. May Allah give him capability for more.

Also it should also be handed out to the ignorant people like from the "Muslim-christian forum" and the "a common word" team.

Absolutely fabulous piece of work mashaAllah! May Allah Ta'ala reward all those who have contributed to this much needed paper. Aameen.

This paper is very detailed. ma sha Allah, gives full historic context. please read, you will enjoy. its in simple english

I just saw this new booklet by Sidi Abu Hasan and I am reading it
and it is excellent and a very academic refutation. It is now up to the devotees of the
Professor to reply if they are able.

Allah reward you!

Having just finished it I have to say it was most impressive -- I loved the two appendices, the Accuracy Checklist and the Contextual Accuracy. These are so powerful that I think, and it is only my opinion, that instead of having these as appendices it would have been better to have them in the beginning and then provide all the evidence for them (as you did).

Amazing job. If I had a minor criticism it was that instead of using the term "Alahazrat" in the text you should have used Imam Ahmad Rida as this book maybe (should be!)
read by non-Muslims and non-Sunnis who might not be familiar with the title Alahazrat (even though clarified it in a footnote.)

I agree with NJ (blue moon? :))

The book is a piece of art ma sha Allah. Just that minor re-arrangement for a version 2 would be super.

The thing is ordinary people don't have big attention spans like Abu Hasan or other students of knowledge and are terribly fidgety.

So that table right in the beginning would give an immediate & comprehensive snapshot of the case; and then if it caught the reader's attention, he would understand the subject matter much better.

If he doesn't have the patience to read through it all, then he still walks away with an excellent summary and idea on the padri's modus operandi, and specifically on how he has befuddled the explanations of these narrations/incidents.

Great job, as usual. May Allah (azza wajal) reward brother abu Hasan for his efforts.

I don't think there's any need to tinker with the arrangement. As in any paper (academic or otherwise), you can't have the table/synopsis in the main section. Note 5 in author's preface anyway can lead the reader to appendices, if he is so needs.

I do think that the meaning of the title "fata morgana" will elude the comprehension grasp of 99% of readers (I being one of them). A footnote in the preface explaining why the title has been chosen will help. Can't expect everyone to reach for google or dictionary to check what it means.

I want to mention the footnotes. To us, they are a few lines but for the author, I am sure some of them need hours of research to write one line.

I see MFM as a benchmark of how sunnis should refute.

Sincerity demands that tahir jhangvi replies to the questions posed by shaykh abu Hasan.

Masha-Allah. A detailed and honest refutation of the mini Dajjaal. may Allah reward the author immensely.

Simultaneously, a detailed Fatwa of Kufr has been issued against Tahir padri regarding his recent Wembley "congregation". Written by Allama Mufti Kausar Hasan Rizwi of India. He is Khalifa of Huzoor Mufti Aazam Hind (RAA).

May Allah reward sayyidi Abu Hasan for this.

Akhi Suleiman,

Do you have any further information about these guys:

http://acommonword.com/en/a-common-...itation-to-christians-to-pray-in-mosques.html

On that page (where they talk about the Prophet's "invitation" for christians to pray in the mosque) they do not mention Habibs Umar and Ali Jifri, but in that same Muslim-christian forum, Habibs Ali Jifri and Umar were members, as are Ali Gomaa and Abdullah bin Bayyah.

What is their CLEAR stance on this issue and what do the students of the Habaib think about this "common word" move?

I cannot wait for this and the 'Preamble to Faith' to be published and be available in bookshops and stalls at conferences. wa billahi tawfiq

The first set of copies of "The Preamble to Faith" has just been printed earlier this week. It should be ready for distribution next week, Insha Allah.

a correction on page 26 is made:
We are Helpers (of God’s religion)
as it follows from the beautiful and superlative kanz al-iman. the oversight is regretted and the translation duly updated.

wa billahi't tawfiq

tahir has gone through 400,000 hadith - can him or his acolytes please tell us which of these 400,000 contain the words that have been put into question in MFM? very easy question.
