tahir jhangvi and his translation of the qur'an

If someone tries to change the basic tenets of the pristine shariah or formulates a new "aqeedah" against the established basic aqaaed, he has implicitly proclaimed himself a Nabi.

@Aqib qadri

Not quite yet...but TuQ's trajectory is on a very dangerous path:
first dr, then Allama, the Shaykh ul Islam, then Mujtahid, then Mujaddid, now taking first steps on Deen-e-Ilahi idea especially in trying to please the west...........we wait for the next declaration soon!

Serious question to TuQ's acolytes: he is a 'dr' and a 'prof'. what was his PhD thesis in, from which university, in which year and how did he then become a professor? i mean, usually you have to publish in reputable journals in your field and teach at a university for at least a decade to become a 'professor' unless you are a genius like John Nash and then they give you your professorship a bit earlier.

These are simple questions so i hope one of the prof's students or followers can clarify.

It appears all those who said in the past that Tahir Padri never authored any of the books carrying his name and that they were written by other groups of scholars were right
someone told me, that an aalim who was also a professor was offered some money by mq to author a book for tq but he refused.

True -2 of them are my close friends - one in Karachi, one in Riyadh.

My post is the opinion of a qualified Mufti. The way TuQ has been changing deen, it tantamounts to proclamation of prophet-hood.

This is same stance of Peer Meher Ali Shah (& perhaps Peer Jamaat Ali Shah), regarding the scoundrel Ibn Abdul Wahhab Najdi.

i do not know if anybody can say these:
niche se niche utrey
bayeN se niche utrey
dayeN se niche utrey
in fact, utrey itself includes the meaning of down.
!

why not? TuQ is descending into the pits of hell, further down, and further down, every passing moment..............

so it can be said of him (TuQ)

neech professor aur bhi neeche utrey
neechey se aur neechey utrey,
utertey gaye, aur neech hote gaye
neechon ke nichle sub se neech ho gaye..............

so it can be said of him (TuQ)
exactly. it is not a phrase to describe fazilat and hence his claim of a 'superior translation' goes down and downer.

and his blind followers accuse ulama e Haqq of being jealous. mawlana jalali sahib rightly asked: 'is liyaqat pe kis ko hasad ho sakta hai?'

I was going through translations of Nisa 4:76 (which I quoted in ubaidullah fatwa thread a while ago) and stumbled on jhangvi's:

Those who believe fight in the way of Allah (for the restoration of peace and elimination of oppression and exploitation), and those who disbelieve fight in the way of Satan (for evil and mischievous objectives). So, (O believers,) fight against Satan’s allies (the enemies of humankind). Surely, Satan’s maneuvering is ineffective.

see how the the devil has made the verse palatable to the kuffar by adding brackets which do not explain but change the meanings of the words!
