i just read the na'at again and i cannot help but second the sentiments of nj above. this is a prime example of sayyidi alahazrat not just distributing the love of rasulAllah sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam in his own era; rather, even today, his words are truly moving.

    he is beyond words sometimes.

Aap rotay jaayenge hum ko hansaatay jaayenge!

He shall give us the glad tidings of intercession in front of Allah
Though he himself will be weeping, thus he will make us laugh!

What a beautiful picture of the maqaam of Shafa'a of Our Master صلى الله عليه وسلم!

I was reading this masterpiece earlier today in Hadaiq and marvelling at the Imam.
Ala Hazrat's greatest achievement in my opinion when I read his poetry is that he kept alive the flame of the ishq of the Prophet in the Subcontinent--one can tell that Murshidina Ala Hazrat :ra: were completely annihilated in the love of the Habib صلى الله عليه وسلم just like Mawlana Jami!

We are so lucky to be amongst those who love him!

i think it's clever how some of the couplets talk about opposites. eg. aap rote jaeN ge ham ko hasaate jaeN ge, or, khud wo gir kar sajda meiN ham ko uThaate jaeN ge
