2) i did not insinuate that the murids earn haram income on this thread i said that the 'murids' (the inverted commas were a sarcasm, because these people are actually buyers or consumers or clients of the 'tasawwuf' of faraz and keller and so on) need a way to spend time and money in halal ways. that was an insinuation towards commercialization of deen, halal holidays, and so on in no way, shape, or form, was it an accusation that the incomes of murids is haram --------------- 3) many facets of these people's personal lives and choices are touted as traits of wilayah. sure, the wilayah argument can be easily refuted by just exposing the corruptness of their 3aqaid and knowledge, thereby showing them as mubtadi3is, but we too have the full right to talk about OTHER facets of their personal lives and choices in order to negate such claims of wilayah once they flaunt such traits, specially when pointing towards their commercialization of deen! btw, phrases like 'wali syndrome' and 'murid syndrome' have been coined in keller's own suhbas, and murids use them even to criticize and backbite about each other from a fiqh point of view - it really doesn't matter if someone sells luxury cars to the rich to make a living, or if a Qari's only job is teaching Noorani Quaida to kids for a small fee, or a publisher charges for the books he prints but if a supposed preacher of tasawwuf holds suhbas in tourist resorts only affordable to the affluent, it reeks of a cult and the wanton commercizlization of deen that is happening today - and is anything but tasawwuf it is for nasiha to the common people. these people work in circular logic. they first advertise people as awliyaa. then they shun any criticism away by comments like: 'how dare you apply your critical thinking and superficial knowledge of Mukhtasar Al-Quduri on a man who has mastered the various sciences under many other masters? he's a wali of Allah and knows the texts much better than you. you're better off going back to your studies and learning the ahkam of taharah!' this try-hard wilayah has to be negated on all fronts ---------------- 4) the same accusation (love of duniya) SHOULD be leveled against Sunnis too if they live off of murids (as opposed to a one off invitation or gift) or sell tasawwuf (and deen too) as a commodity. being on the right 3aqidah is one thing, exploiting it, commercializing deen, and selling it off as a commodity is something else i have probably said it before on this forum that na3tkhwans charging into the lakhs of rupees (or even thousands) are not doing Sunniyat any favors at all, as an example.
brother abu Hasan probably implicated me in this statement in another post on the TKM thread due to my post#8 on this thread 1) my allegation that keller and his cohorts (ali jifry, ali juma, omar hafiz et al) are hungry for duniya is correctly read by the brother and i stand by my words. i did give a good reason too, that support and endorsement of such outlandish heresy can only establish one of the three a) insanity, or b) partnership in the heresy (if done consciously), or c) a desire for fame and/or money to see one's name in print (if done without scrutinizing the heresies) these are not cases of a one-off where we can say d) it was just done in good faith with husn az-zdhann of an otherwise good scholar and a blunder slipped through (if done without actually reading the book) rather this is a whole thread of very deliberate and calculated heresies started by the common word khiyanah and all these people, are equally guilty.

it is an implicit insult of Allah Subhanu wa Ta'ala as well because Allah subhanu wa ta'ala never tricks people to disbelief, it is shaytan who wishes and tricks people to commit kufr. so unbelievers by birth can conclude that Allah subhanu wa ta'ala is not merciful on them, and they should not be guilty of disbelief. faraz and keller's other murids should know we won't do takfir on this statement - thanks to TKM of sidi Abu Hasan that we know basic principles and it is a shame for ITK of keller that his murids are practically demonstrating that their tongues and pens are unrestrained, and trying to promote that people should not worry about their iman. for sure IKT and keller's suhbas have a direct impact on this kind of happy-go-lucky way of thinking.

This is exactly opposite of the practice of the Sahaba and our pious mashaykh e keraam, and true momins: they always feared and keep fearing the loss of Imaan. Complacency about losing faith is the entry pass for the devil.

Can they prove that Allah or His Beloved have not warned us against the shaytan as an open enemy? Yet these arrogant jahils will gladly shoo away any guidance that Ar-Rahman sent their way, all because they do not worry about falling into disbelief caused by the tricks of shaytan. They will gladly embrace the deception of shaytan, only to reject the guidance and mercy of Ar-Rahman. These people are equally blind and no different than the people of Lut and Ibrahim, 3alaihimus salam.
this one line (spoken 2 days back) sums up the position of keller and his students aptly: "Stop worrying about falling into disbelief. Allah isn’t trying to trick us into mistakes. He is far too merciful than that." sorry about the digression but it is not intrinsically unrelated to the theme of abu Hasan's book. it is only contingently unrelated.
