How to stop getting censored on social media when posting about Palestinian conflict:

    1. Censor your words, writing “P.lestine” instead of “Palestine” or “Isr@el” instead of “Israel”.

    2. Ask followers to interact with your posts.

    3. Mix it up. Don’t just post about the content facing censorship. Intersperse posts related to the Palestinian conflict with some personal content/posts (like a sunset pic for example).

Lots of people have been saying on Ig/Fb that their number of story views/likes had decreased since they begun posting about the recent Palestinian conflict.

Just saw this article on the Financial Times that IG is now tweaking its algorithm after “complaints from its staff that pro-Palestinian content was not seen by users during the recent conflict in Gaza”.

“Facebook’s algorithms had labelled words commonly used by Palestinian users, such as “martyr” and “resistance” as incitements to violence and removed posts about the al-Aqsa mosque after mistakenly associating the third holiest site in Islam with a terrorist organisation, according to US media reports”
