Here is more accurate Translation :

    Tanam Farsooda jaa para
    Ze Hijra Ya Rasulullah
    Dillam Paz Murda Aawara

My body is dissolving in your separation
And my soul is breaking into pieces.
Due to my sins, My heart is weak and becoming enticed.

    Choon Soo’e Mun Guzar Aari
    Manne Miskeen Zanaa Daari
    Fida-E-Naqsh-E-Nalainat
Kunam Ja.

    When you pass by me
Then even in my immense poverty, ecstatically,
I must sacrifice my soul on your blessed sandal.

    Ze Jaame Hubb To Mustam
    Ba Zanjeere To Dil Bustam
    Nu’mi Goyam Ke Mun Bustum
Sukun Daa.

I am drowned in the taste of your love
And the chain of your love binds my heart.
Yet I don’t say that I know this language (of love).

    Siyaa Shud Roze Isyaanam
Pashemaanam, Pashemaanam, Pashemaanam.

    I am worried due to my misdeeds;
And I feel that my sins have blackened my heart.
I am in distress! I am in distress! I am in distress!

    Choon Baazoo’e Shafaa’at Raa
    Khushaa’I Bar Gunaagara
    Makun Mahruume Jaami Raa
Daraa Aan.

When you spread your hands to intercede for the sinners,
Then do not deprive Jaami of your exalted intercession Ya Rasulullah (Sallal lahu Alaihi wa alihi sallam)!.

the Urdu translation is just a literal prose translation and, though accurate, doesn't do justice to the poetic worth of Jami's :ra: kalam. It's a pity since Urdu is the closest language to Farsi and translations to and from one to the other are relatively simple.

    Thanks though :)

this clip from the late mushtaq's earliest recordings:

requires real media player or anything that can run .rm files; this is a very old conversion and therefore, the quality is barely passable.

    raHimahullah.

ps: use an open source media player like vlc - slim, functional, unbiased and free.

transliterated from the video clips posted today on the sunniport front page from the classical Farsi naat by Hazrat e Jami :ra: My translation is as follows, may Allah and the Habib صلى الله عليه وسلم accept it and give me and all of us a portion of Jami's love!

my body is weak, my soul is in pieces due to your separation O Messenger of Allah!
My heart is withered, a vagabond, due to my sins O Messenger of Allah!

zi jaam e hub e tau mastam, ba zanjeer e tau bastam
na migoyam ke man hastam sukhandaan ya rasoolallah

I am drunk with the wine of your love, I am imprisoned by your chains
I do not say that I am a poet O Messenger of Allah!

choo soo ye man guzar aayee man e miskeen e naadaree
fida e naqsh e naalaaynat kunam jaan ya rasoolallah

When you come towards me, (if you) don't have wretched me
I will sacrifice my soul for the footprints of your shoes O Messenger of Allah!

zi kardeh khaish e khayraanam, syaah shud rooz e isyaanam
    pashemaanam pashemaanan pashemaan ya rasoolallah!

I am perplexed about my previous deeds; that I will be blackfaced on Judgement Day
I am distressed! I am distressed! Distressed O Messenger of Allah!

choon baazoo e shafaat ra kushaayee ba gunehgaaraan
makun mehroom jami ra dar aan ya rasool allah

when you spread out your arms of intercession for the sinners
Please do not disappoint Jami at that time O Messenger of Allah!
