    The maximum distance from any point on earth to Medinah Munawwarah would be half of 40075 km.

    So approx 20,000 km - that's even closer.

    door o nazdeeq ke sun-ne waale woh kaan,

    i mean that this would be the longest distance in a given direction that one can travel on earth, if we ignore all the hurdles. A person traveling 100 km a day on a vehicle would reach to the starting point only in a year and a month. is there any comparison? rasulAllah alaihi afDalussalat war-tasleem seeing, hearing, catching things 3500 years away in a blink of an eye.

    what is nida? to call someone

    actually, deobandis try to explain such nida in the poetry of their elders and early sunni scholars as nida al zehni, that is calling/talking to someone who is in poet's mind/thoughts; it is not actual calling upon someone. but this is nonsense due to several reasons;

    (a) it is futile, and upright scholars do not get involved in futile things
    (b) there are many reports (not poetry) that sahabah called upon rasulAllah alaihi afDalus salat wat-tasleem, and many scholars called upon awliya kiram, or they deemed it permissible (not just in poetry)
    (c) there are stories of deobandi elders of calling upon their deceased, and stories of deceased elders coming from their graves and helping their juniors. this all is not poetry
    (d) time and distance does not change polytheism to monotheism. for example, if it is permissible to say 'Ya Rasul Allah' at the blessed rawdah then why not from far away? where is the proof that calling upon at the blessed rawdah is not shirk but from far distances it is?
    (e) RasulAllah has said that (even) if my masjid is extended then all the extension will be (part of) my masjid. so, this proves that calling upon rasulAllah alaihi afDalus salat wat-tasleem from any part of the today's masjid un nabi is permissible. so, what proof they have to exclude rest of the world if the masjid is extended to the entire world? in mirqat;

    mirqat-vol-2-p366.png

    (f) deobandis believe that RasulAllah alahi afDalus salat wat-tasleem is alive IN HIS GRAVE (hayyun), and it is reported in ahadith that the distance between earth and the first sky is 500 years of traveling, adding up seven skies would make 3500 years of traveling. and if we take the estimates of modern science, then the scale of the universe is 162 billion light years; if, what scientists call the universe is under the first sky then it would make (162 x 7 = 1134 billion light years.

    now it is reported in sahih and hasan ahadith that;
    (i) RasulAllah alahi afDalus salat wat-tasleem sees his pond which is at least as far as mentioned above, i.e. 3500 years of travel distance. below is a muttafaqun a'alaihi hadith from muslim sharif

    mutafaqun alaih.png

    (ii) He alaihi afDalus salat wat-tasleem hears the crackling sound of the skies and knows by seeing why it does so because there is no place equal to the size of four fingers where angles are not prostrating to Allah Ta'ala, you know the distances, imam hakim reports in his mustadrak

    mustadrak.png
    also in tirmidhi, and albani said it is hasan

    (iii) He alaihi afDalus salat wat-tasleem catches things in jannah, again in bukhari;

    bukhari 1052.png

    so, RasulAllah alaihi afDalus salat wat-tasleem can see, hear, and hold things which are 3500 years travel distance away or 1134 billion light years away, while the circumference of our earth is only 40075 km.

    if deobandis really believe that rasulAllah is alive then why don't they believe in these ahadith, and why he alaihi afDalus salat wat tasleem cannot see, hear, and help us only from 4000 km away?

    I never knew. I have heard akram nadwi, say in translation of 'Bustan alMuhaddithin' , (I think?) that when sayyidi Ahmad alZarruq, Rahmat Allahi Ta'ala alayh, tells his murids, to call him, when in difficulty, "Ya Zarruq" , that's it's nida. or is he different from deo group.

    Just to point out that the Eidgah Sharif Shuyukh are not usually referred to as 'Naqeebis'.

    The Naqeebi group is a different one. The mureeds wear a hat with coloured stripes (rainbow hats I call them). There is a thread on the group on here regarding 'dancing' in gatherings/graveyards (?).

    Just thought it wouldn't be fair to unintentionally mix the groups up.

    nida (ya) to Ghairu-Allah - as per their verdicts - is also "shirk".

    That couplet of Nanothvi is often quoted to show the hypocrisy of the deobandies.
    Perhaps it isn't hassan haseeb naqeebi himself, but an admin who's copy and pasted it from somewhere and doesn't realise who that is.

    Yes, Qasim Nanotwi - the founder of Deoband; doing Isteghasa, committing "shirk" as per Deobandi verdicts.
