based on the videos i have seen on his channel, shaykh appears to be an outstanding sunni scholar; however, he portrays as if he knows about deobandi/brailvi conflict and its origins more than the subcon people, while he does not know urdu. his saying that the brithish goverrnment created this conflict between subcon muslims is quite funny. he does not know the history and makes a lot of assumptions without firsthand knowledge. yes, he is right, that he cannot take sides, and we excuse him for this for the same reason that he does not know urdu; however, deobandies should show us the barailvi(sunni) aqidah and practices that the shaykh refutes and call them shirk/kufr/bid'ah, while the things which he rejects from the deobandi side are the same issues that we reject as well as refute. in fact, in the video, he only rejected things from the deoband side and did/could not mention things from the brailvies. yes, he could present takfir, but that is part of the core issues between barailvies and deobandies, so he cannot use it to blame us because he does not know the full details. but, i am a bit surprised that the shaykh knows very well that deobandies do taqiyyah, but still, he cannot understand that their claim to being maturidi, hanafi, qadri or naqshbandi is also taqiiyyah, only to lure common folks and turn them wahabi. unfortunately, the shaykh cannot see this.
