It does not seem that a shadhili shaykh has written this biography. Its likely written by an orientalist. Only they teach to take the names of awliya Allah and our Imams freely.
Is it true that this Sufi was executed in Baghdad because he had been proclaiming, "Ana al-Haque"?? Is it true that he has ever remained controversial and some Muslim thinkers consider him to be a saint, others condemn him as a heretic?
