man kuntu mawlahu fa `aliyyun mawlahu

    the hadith:

    "whoever loves me, then aliyy is also beloved to him" based on the translation of wala'a as maHabbah.

    "whoever i am master of, then aliyy is his master" based on the translated of mawla as lord and master.

    zabidi in his laqt al-la'ali mentions this as the 61st hadith.

    this hadith was narrated by 21 companions (the listing has 22)
