that's the point, azizq. when amongst themselves with their desi-mullahs, they revile alaHazrat and ahlu's sunnah for believing that the dear prophet sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam is noor, but are forced to say the same nowadays. we haven't had to compromise on any practice or belief, we are the same as we ever were, whereas they have had to accept that we were always right!
Shaykh Habib Kadhim As-Saqqaf in one of his speeches said... The first thing that was created was the light of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then this light was separated as it is stated in hadith See it's not a 'Barelvi' thing!
Ah. That's the problem you see: their sheer hypocrisy stinks. They're only "Sunni" when it suits their purposes. As soon as they go back to their own kind they change back into the wolves they are.
subhan Allah! That is why he :ra: was a mujaddid and a wali and fana fi'l Rasool صلى الله عليه وسلم and no one even remembers his detractors except to curse them! Ya Rasoolallah Madad!
Doesn’t it just warm the cockles of your heart and increase the coolness of your eyes to see the manifest victory of alaHazrat against those who wish(ed) to decrease the remembrance of rasulAllah sallAllahu ‘alaihi wasallam by attacking established beliefs of ahlu’s sunnah? Let me explain. Over 100 years ago, alaHazrat highlighted the importance of celebrating the mawlid of rasulAllah sallAllahu ‘alaihi wasallam and the detractors labelled it a bid’ah. alaHazrat defended the practices of kissing the thumbs; isaal al-thawab via khatms; saying ya rasulAllah; commemorating ‘araas of awliya; reciting durud al-taj; intermediation through the dear prophet sallAllahu ‘alaihi wasallam; believing in his knowledge of the unseen and him being hadir wa nadir etc. At the time and up until very recently, alaHazrat and ahlu’s sunnah were attacked for all these things [and still are in vast parts where arab scholars don’t visit and talk about the same things we do!] Today, the same people are celebrating mawlid; singing the burdah; deeming it permissible to practice and believe all those things that alaHazrat defended over 100 years ago! As the monthly raza-e-mustafa always says: Zindabad! ay mufti ahmad raza khan, zindabad! --- congratulations to all ahlu's sunnah in this holy month for this manifest victory!
