Does anyone know what is the opinion of Abu Nuaym Isbahani who authored the book Dalaail Nubawwa on this subject. Anyone know where to get the online version of Dalaail Nubawwa

The issue of being the first and last is a separate issue. What the scholars of Jamia Na'imiyya state is that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was not aware that he was a Nabi before the age of 40 years.

His student rightly asks the question: can you prove from the classical texts "before prophethood" means "before prophethood was openly declared"?

He cites the quote from Shifa by Qadi Ayad. Why was the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) worried when the revelation came?

The scholars of Jami'a Na'imiyya are in line with 1400 years of scholarship including with Alahazrat since the knowledge of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) increased in stages.

    As-salamu 'alaykum

What is the date of the video of 'Allamah Sa'id As'ad because he does not have the same opinion as Mufti Ashraf Silwi on this matter.

He believes that the Prophet (salla Llahu 'alayhi wa sallam) is the last (khatam) bi'than, and the first (awwal) khilqan.

Please verify the date of the telephone call. And most hopefully have it removed in order not to create more confusion and fitnah among sunnis.

okay, got it alhamdulillah wa jazakAllahu khayran.

it is really very sad that an scholar like ashraf sayalvi has erred and has opened door to another fitnah. I pray that he do tawbah and save himself and his followers from being questioned on the judgement day.

i don't care about this fellow, i would like to know correct sunni position with references from aslaaf books, so far what i have listened to from ashraf siyalvi sahab and his student sounds reasonable, but anyhow ulama can point out the fallacies if there are any and enlighten us with correct sunni position.

but, trust me, i am feeling really very bad now :(

i have seen this thread but i am sorry to say that at several places very bad language was used, for example in this video at 10:20 and 23:35, i don't know who those personalities are. astaghfirullahi al-azeem. whereas the student of hazrat ashraf siyalvi sahab has been very polite and decent, though at some places he made some sarcastic remarks but not like those made from fellows with shah sahab.

note that before this thread i only knew hazrat ashraf siyalvi through his books, this is first time i saw him in a video, and came to know about this issue.

i would like to see the dalaail from shah sahab's side.

i listened to all the parts of this reply too, he sounds quite reasonable except at a couple of places, for example when he talked about the event of mithaq, it seemed as if hazrat ashraf siyalvi sahab and this brother don't believe that they were nabi at that time, but it is not very clear.

what is shah sahab's hafizahullahu ta'ala response to the dalail of hazrat ashraf siyalvi hafizahullahu tala'a and what are the implications on him?

    i don't think that it is a serious or fundamental issue, and perhaps only choice of words otherwise what i believe he says that;

(i)-Nabi-e-Karim alaihi afDalus salaat wat-tasleem was (given) nubuwwah first in alam-e-arwah
(ii)-since nubuwwah is not kasbi therefore near Allah subhanu wa ta'ala a nabi is always nabi in alam e arwah, and from the day he was born until the age he was given shari'ah
(iii)-though nabi only becomes aware when an angle is sent to him and he is given shari'ah, or you can say that nubuwwah was not assigned until that age

i don't think there is much problem with it, but i would like to see what our aslaaf have said about it (a) whether RasulAllah alaihi afDalus salaat wat-tasleem was a prophet by birth and he had a shari'ah (b) or he was given nubuwwah at the age of 40 (that is what we have been reading)

i listened to all 5 parts of this speech, he says that being given nubuwwah in aalam alarwah is a different issue, but in this world RasulAllah alaihi afDalus salaat wat-tasleem was given nubuwwah at the age of 40, and not before that. what is wrong with it?

Nubuwwah was declared at 40 - not given it - thats what the sunni position has always been has it not?

Sidi Noori , I believe thats its The claim that the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam only found out that they were a Prophet after 40 years
