    What is Karbala?

It's a symbol of the greatness of Islam. That even the life of grandson of RasulAllah ﷺ can be sacrificed for it.

Imagine, just 50 years after RasulAllah ﷺ left the world, Islam gets changed. What would be its state 1400 years later?

So Karbala is to say, the greatest of lives will be readily sacrificed for upholding true Islam.

Husayn is the leader of the youth of paradise. He is from RasulAllah ﷺ. He's the son of Ali and Fatimah. He was kissed by RasulAllah ﷺ. He was named by RasulAllah ﷺ. RasulAllah ﷺ gave him tahnik (sweetness at birth). He is from the five purified ones. He is everything.

    But?

    Islam predominates all of this.

When you have the life of Husayn on one side and Islam on the other, Islam every time. Even RasulAllah ﷺ said, I wish to be martyred again and again.

So what is Karbala? It's speaking and acting against those who aim to change Islam.

What is our Karbala? Is there a Karbala today? Yes. Aren't we surrounded by heterodoxy in the name of Islam? We are.

What Husayn showed was that internal threats are the most dangerous. Because they're done in the name of Islam.

So if we see today "Islamic scholars" pushing perennialism, sulh kullism, rafidism/tafdilism - that's our Karbala. No need to give your life. Just speak up.

Isn't it in our time that:

    - The Study Quran was published
    - people were encouraged to call upon false gods
    - we were told to stop refuting deviants
    - we were exhorted to celebrate Christmas
    - sahabah are reviled
    - the Quranic meanings are distorted

These are our Karbala. What will you do?

If you like to talk about Karbala and think Imam Husayn is a hero like no other, then ponder why?

Why do you think he's a hero? Is it because he spoke up against those who wanted to change Islam?

Then why do you go against those who speak against people in our time who wish to do the same?

There are so many evil scholars today who peddle deviance. When they are challenged, you don't like it. Then why do you think Imam is a hero?

The true followers of Imam are those who don't stay silent against heresy.

What's the proof that steadfastness (istiqamah) is superior to miracles (karamah)?

    Husayn.

Good job some of today's shaykhs weren't at Karbala or they might have said:

'Imam Husayn should worry about himself. Don't judge Yazid. Stop creating fitnah. We're all Muslims. We have external threats to worry about.'

    Etc. Etc.

Nasibi wahabi deobandi: You shouldn't say Imam Husayn. Just say Husayn.

    Sunni: Where do you pray?

Nasibi wahabi deobandi: Top Rd. Masjid.

    Sunni: Which one is that?

Nasibi wahabi deobandi: You know! Where Imam AbdAllah is based.

    Sunni: Imam, eh...?

RasulAllah ﷺ said: 'Hasan and Husayn are two names from paradise. Nobody had these names before.'

We ask the kafir: it was apparently easy to disprove this. A kafir from a far away land could turn up and say, 'look, Muhammad was wrong. Our kids are called Hasan/Husayn.'

It proves he is the Messenger of Allah.

    ---
We ask the devbandi: if RasulAllah ﷺ didn't have knowledge of the entire earth and everyone's states, how did he know...?

RasulAllah sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam sacrificed his own son, Ibrahim, for Imam Husayn.

Imam Husayn repaid this by sacrificing himself for the dīn of RasulAllah sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam.

    RadiyAllahu anhuma.

Karbala shows one thing straight away: that the rule of Hadrats Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Hasan, Muawiyah were valid.

It was only when Yazid came to power that our master Husayn fought.

When Abu Bakr came to power, none of Umar, Uthman, Ali opposed him nor did any other sahabi.

When Umar became khalifah, none of Uthman, Ali or anyone else fought him.

When Uthman did, Ali didn't rebel.

When Ali did, no one denied him.

    When Hasan did, the same.

When Muawiyah came, Imams Hasan and Husayn didn't fight him.

Only when Yazid came did someone finally oppose the rule.

Were Muslims from the time of Abu Bakr till Yazid cowards? Was Husayn the only brave one? No. But there was nothing to oppose because all leaders were righteous.

    Yazid was the first tyrant.

Rafidis should use their brains and ponder over this.

When the father is Ali and the mother is Fatimah, the sons will be Hasan and Husayn.

You want good kids? Become good yourself.

Why did Imam Husayn go to Karbala when he knew he will be martyred?

What's the abjad value of ISLAM? اسلام
    132

What's the abjad value of JA HUSAYN? جا حسین (Go, Husayn!)
    132

Hence, Husayn had to go to save Islam!

Yazid offered Imam Husayn the governorship of various provinces.

Didn't he know? Imam Husayn had already been granted the kingdom of jannah!

When I read 2:152 onwards and then look at Imam Husayn رضي الله عنه - I see imam fitting the description to the utmost degree.

    ---
    2:152
So remember Me; I will raise your remembrance. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.

[Fits Husayn perfectly - he only remembered Allah and was ever grateful]

    ---
    2:153
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.

[Fits Husayn perfectly - he was an embodiment of patience and was martyred in sajdah]

    ---
    2:154
And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.

[Fits Husayn perfectly - he is a martyr so he's alive]

    ---
    2:155
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.

[Fits Husayn perfectly - Yazidis tried to cause fear, Ahl al-Bayt were hungry and thirsty, they left their wealth in Madinah Sharif, they lost lives and their children (fruits)]

    ---
    2:156
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."

[Fits Husayn perfectly - when all was said and done, he was content with the Will of Allah]

    ---
    2:157
Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.

[Fits Husayn perfectly - in salah, we send blessings on Ahl al-Bayt and he was certainly rightly guided]

    ---
These are consecutive ayahs and form an exact depiction of Imam Husayn.

Imam Husayn and Karbala aren't one man and one event. They're an entire philosophy.

We can narrate the merits of Husayn and the incidents surrounding Karbala but it's even more important to disseminate the philosophy of Karbala, the whys and wherefores.

Fundamental philosophy: when somebody wishes to spread deviance in the name of Islam, raise your voice. Don't stay silent.

They talk about Imam Husayn but side with the Yazid's of today.

Yazid tried to change Islam so anyone who does that today is a Yazid.

So why do molwis talk about Husayn yet go to events of Tahir ul? Isn't he changing Islam? What on earth was Wembley?

What about Nasr, Hamza and The Study Quran? Yazidis.

What about downplaying the differences between Sunni, shiah, salafi, deobandi and that we shouldn't refute deviants? Yazidi action.

If you talk about Husayn, then follow his way too.

Anyone who wishes to change Islam is a follower of Yazid.

Only we have the right to talk about Husayn رضي الله عنه. We are Husayni.

If AbdAllah ibn Zubayr became the bravest of men by drinking the blood of RasulAllah ﷺ - then imagine Husayn - who was MADE from the blood of RasulAllah ﷺ!
