Just saw this. The blithering moron invokes gandhi as some sort of an authority on peace and that makruh molvi abul kalam azad! this 'alliance of virtue' is nothing but akbar's deene ilahi irtidad.

Their propaganda and narrative is losing. It's time to seize the opportunity and open up as many eyes as possible. Might not get a better chance as they are sure to plug the x/Musk loophole in the future.

unfortunately, this appears to be closer to reality than our hyper-optimistic expectations.

as said in the hadith: 'what will you do when you live among human scum?'

"how will you be when you remain among the scum of humans - when their covenants and trusts are all mixed up and they will differ amongst themselves and will become like this." the Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam intertwined the fingers of his [blessed] hand.

hazrat abdullah ibn amr said: "what do you command me to do?"

he SallAllahu alahi wa sallam said: "hold fast unto what you recognise as right; and forsake that which you recognise as wrong. attend to your personal affairs - and beware of matters related to public."

in another narration: "remain in your home; withhold your tongue; take that which you recognise as right and forsake that which you recognise as evil - keep to yourself and stay away from the matters of other people"

the number of celebrities speaking for gaza and against israel is astounding this time. i have never seen this kind of support for palestine and opposition to israel.

here is a random tweet - i don't even know who is the guy. but i checked no. of followers - about 500K. the tweet has 1M engagements.

in the past week, i saw dozens of posts deploring, CONDEMNING - yes, condemning - israel, made by influencers; people from 10K to 500K followers. and surprisingly, twitter has been even-handed unlike the zionist zucker owned FB and IG.

only the cow-dung people of india will support them. there is a strong current against israel right now.

bro, the narrative has shifted. and for a people like us following the palestinian issue for decades, it is an amazing thing.

    listen from 15.50:

    ---
i hope muslim speakers learn from such commentators and try to speak their mind without mincing words. palestinian spokesmen have been wonderfully articulate. bassam yousef for all it is worth - with his dry wit put his point across. israel HAS lost this propaganda war and hopefully it will not recover from it any soon.

the side story which is not quite apparent is the defeat of the US and the rise of china-russia powers. like all empires, it is stretched and the days of other countries bankrolling american wars is coming to an end.

we may witness the end of the american empire - in sha'Allah.

    wAllahu'l musta'an.

personally, i think this is useful for muslims - especially when they feel lost and helpless. it gives them hope.

while it is true in general, scott has been saying all this even before the war and used his platform to unequivocally oppose western/israeli crimes against muslim countries. he is much like galloway who has held this principled stand.

we need people to articulate OUR side of the story. and scott does it brilliantly. he is an ally.

i have not seen any other commentator with such a large following who terms hamas as a "resistance force", refused to call it 'terrorist' and instead calls israeli govt/military to be terrorist for what it is.

hamas has won because never in the history of past 80 years has such support for palestinians poured out in europe. many countries have severed their ties - honduras is filing for war crimes. israel practically lost the propaganda war.

    ---
i am sure, you also know that israel will succeed as a state only if they have settlers. after this war, israel's biggest fear is european settlers will go home and never come back. there are serious fissures in israeli society, their economy before the war was lagging and now will be in shreds. they are spending all their capital - and apparently due to the right-wing belief in the curse of the 8th decade, which was mentioned by abu obeidah.

    ---
36 days and there is no decisive victory. hamas is destroying their armoured vehicles and making videos - and i suppose scott knows better when he says that urban guerilla warfare is impossible to win for an occupying force. some of scott's analyses are good to listen because he gives technical rationale from the PoV of a soldier and sounds reasonable. look at his commentary on the ukraine war. he was among the few who disagreed with the popular opinion - and when you listen to his analyses from 6 months ago, the way it unfolded is frighteningly close to how he described it. btw, in one of the talks he says russia is his specialisation, so he must know his stuff well.

    ---
let us see what hizbullah does - because, this is the right time to strike israel. unlike other states, hizbullah has a stake - sharing border with israel and having fought wars with israel as an occupying force. israeli defence terrorist has already said that they will turn to north after they finish with hamas - and it is not going quite well at the moment.

patience is also running out in the US - congressional workers have protested asking for a ceasefire - even though the reps themselves are bought by israelis. going forward, in sha'Allah, israel has a lot to lose - a number of red lines have been crossed and that is a definite first. until oct-7-2023, even a mild criticism of israel was a taboo in the west.

even in the US - the 'unconditional' and 'no red lines' support to israel has dissipated. of c, biden will try to brazen it thru', but there will be pressure from all sides - and they are white christians mind you. privately they hate them - but for political expediency, they will support them.

    ----
going by hamas announcements, they are giving hell to israel. according to the latest count, they said they have destroyed 160 vehicles, including merkava 3 & 4 tanks (each tank can carry 4-6 soldiers) captured dozens of soldiers and killed nearly 300-400 soldiers.

it might be fantasising - dil ke khush rakhnay ko ghalib ye khayal accha hai - but i think israel is now spent a lot of firepower and is weaker than it was at the start of the war. if hamas and hizbullah ratchet the pressure - israel is a goner.

we pray that the curse of the 8th decade come true.

    nas'alu Allah al-aafiyah.

My master, the imam of Ahl al-Sunnah Imam Ahmad Rida Khan Baraylawi brings a hadith about Ghazza, Fatāwā #Ridawiyyah 15:285:

'It is in Musnad al-Firdaws from AbdAllah b. Zubayr رضي الله عنه that RasulAllah ﷺ said:

'Glad tidings to those whom Allah chose to live in one of two brides: Asqalān or Ghazza.''

Then we can question almost every single things based on this notion.

I feel it helps us. When Muslims stand up for Palestine, the narrative others have of us is that we supporting "terrorists". People like Scott who have worked with the IDF (being non muslim) are helping us indirectly against the false news propaganda.

Go below the video and see and how many Americans (non muslims) understand the politics US is playing and change their perspective on the issue.

On one hand we have xxxxx like Ben Shapiro who are trying their best to change history via their channels and then we have us...who are helpless due to the constant false narrative on media.

Yes everything is money driven. So many accounts on twitter are monetized and are making lots of money with the issue. But I believe it's helping us alot getting the correct narrative to people.

As if this never happend before the war. People will continue making such videos either way and these are the evils of social media that will happen irrespective of what happens in Palestine.

So to sum up my point, yes it doesn't help us very much and that these people are just there to make money. But it definitely helps strengthen our side of the story as its impacts differently from the perspective of Muslim narrating it to " Scott ritter an ex IDF views on palestine"
We all know this will happen either way. But this doesn't mean we should stop raising our voices for truth.

If you gonna have this perspective then we might as well just question everyone's efforts at this point.
Its more like saying we inevitably know what will happen to Palestine so what's the point of protesting and boycotting.

The reality unfortunately is that we are weak, several factors over time have led to our current state. Until we reach a state of military advancement where we can challenge the US there won't be much improvement to our state, especially when our political leaders have sold themselves for this world!

Why are Russia and China intact? Because they don't have the guts to attack them.

I don't believe our conditions will improve until the arrival of Imam Mahdi. And that might be centuries away as we know at the time we might not even have all this war technology.

It was an accident guys, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Eastern Mediterranean = the area between Cyprus and Palestine... it's just a 70 km from Cyprus to Palestine by sea, and the British and Murrican plane activity at the British base there has been exceptionally high during the last one month, they were flying only coz they like the weather this time of the year.

Honest, unbiased analysis from principled experts are always welcome. But what's the point of this (and similar) analysis?

One thing we need to bear in mind is that such analysts (even though they genuinely mean what they say) post videos for eyeballs (which they can monetise). They know that we muslims (and other supporters of Palestinian cause) will flock to watch these videos to hear what we want to hear from alternative (non-mainstream, non-zionist) source. It's like us being in echo-chamber. But who's hearing our echoes in the outside world?

How's Hamas winning? By the time, Israel will be declared to have lost (the narrative, moral ground, world support, soft points, and what not), Gaza would have been annihilated or pushed into Sinai. Israel will happily take such "loss".

So starved we have been of hope that we desperately want Israel to be humiliated. So if we come across any sensationalist video claiming how Israel is suffering, we are too glad to lend it our eyes. I see many muslim youtubers creating and posting sensationalist videos - how Israel is being attacked and destroyed by united Arab power, how tornado/earthquakes have stuck Israel as divine retribution etc.etc. Who are these idiots making such videos?

    -----

And then there's another spectrum of videos we like to watch.

Why has that obnoxiously one-sided Piers Morgan suddenly become even-handed and has now been giving lot of air-time to pro-Palestinian voices? Inwardly he must be gloating that Bassem Youssef interview garnered 20m+ views. Even though he gets 'slapped' on air, he makes money from views! And who is filling his pocket? We!

I personally realise that there's lot of talk/air from genuine parties and from opportunistic ones. I have been equally guilty of watching these videos and posting few here. Methinks, we flock to these two spectrum of youtube videos just to feel good and clutch at tiny/flimsy hope or glimpse of success. None of these change the reality that Palestinians are being cleansed.

As Bassem Youssef sarcastically said the best case scenario for Palestinians is that they are almost completely eliminated, save a handful; then the world will feel pity (just as the white people felt after eliminating indigenous people) on the remaining dozen and create a museum to commemorate their genocide.

Just my cynical commentary on our hopeless state. I'm not judging others.

Scott Ritters analysis are quiet good. Here and there his bias. But his opinions are more towards Palestinians.

A Hadith Paak mentions in the end times there will be two camps in the world. It seems the wheat is being separated from the chaff. Everyone (nations, politicians, celebrities and ordinary folk) are having to take a position, and will be judged/exposed accordingly. Are we in that process?

    https://www.un.org/unispal/document/auto-insert-178825/

    139. Under the terms of Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations:

“Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security.”

Article 51 of the Charter thus recognizes the existence of an inherent right of self-defence in the case of armed attack by one State against another State. However, Israel does not claim that the attacks against it are imputable to a foreign State.

The Court also notes that Israel exercises control in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and that, as Israel itself states, the threat which it regards as justifying the construction of the wall originates within, and not outside, that territory. The situation is thus different from that contemplated by Security Council resolutions 1368 (2001) and 1373 (2001), and therefore Israel could not in any event invoke those resolutions in support of its claim to be exercising a right of self-defence.

Consequently, the Court concludes that Article 51 of the Charter has no relevance in this case.
